Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid is featured for the front cover. For the first time of the series, all 20 teams from the Brazilian national league, Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, are included in the game series. The UEFA Champions League has once again appeared in the game. This is the last game to feature the current game engine. It is also the final game to be released for the Sony PlayStation 2 in North America and Europ
